What separates video professionals from the amateur wedding guest with a camcorder and a tripod? A few things. One of the biggest considerations is the quality of the audio we’re capturing.

Are you using an on-camera shotgun mic? Lapel mics? Did you plug into their in-house system? How do you monitor your audio live? Is it recording to a separate component or live to tape?
