BRUCE PATTERSON of Cloud Nine Creative and WedLuxe Magazine™

The Art (and Business) of Wedding Filmmaking
Bruce Patterson is an award-winning wedding filmmaker based in Vancouver and Toronto Canada. Having begun as a graphic design studio in 1999, Cloud Nine Creative branched out into filming weddings in 2003. Combined with the introduction of his printed magazine, WedLuxe, Bruce has built an international brand that is synonymous with quality and which caters to a luxury clientele. His wedding films have brought him to Mauritius off the coast of South Africa, the Philippines, and all over the US and Canada. This fall the Cloud Nine team will be filming weddings in Ireland and Singapore (on New Year’s Eve).

In Bruce’s seminar, he’ll talk about the ups and downs and trials and tribulations that he and his company have experienced after filming weddings for the past 7 years. He is as passionate about the “art” of wedding filmmaking as he is about the “business”. Come and hear how Bruce has been able to persevere throughout the years in order to avoid some of the same mistakes in your own company. Learn how to combine a high level of quality with a good business approach that will allow you to charge top dollar.

Come for this 90 minute session and then stick around as Bruce explains what exactly he has in his bag for his shoots.

One Response to “Past Meeting – MIVA 2010 Workshop”

    1. I have attended a few MIVA workshops in the past and they are always informative, fun, and worth every penny.
This work shop is two days, so I would like some more info on what will be covered before I commit to the two days.
Can someone post a list of things covered… dosent have to be exact, just something to help with my decision?
I’m sure it will be great fun, just hanging with other MIVA members is a blast!
      Thanks
